Financial Aid

The sport of rowing can be expensive, and we want financial circumstances to be as little of a barrier to participation as possible. LHRC offers financial aid to youth athletes and families who may need assistance with program costs.

The link to apply for financial aid is below. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be contacted by the Financial Aid Team with instructions on how to complete the registration process.

Please do not register for a program through the regular registration page while your financial aid application is being reviewed. Wait until you have received instructions from the Financial Aid Team.

Financial Aid Information

  • Financial aid is available for youth athletes only.

  • Financial aid cannot be combined with other discounts. If you have multiple children participating in LHRC programs, this will be taken into consideration when determining your award.

  • Regatta fees are paid separately prior to each event. Anticipated regatta fees and other program-related expenses will be considered when determining financial aid awards.

  • Whenever possible, please apply before the start of the season. Applications may still be submitted during a two-week grace period after the season begins, but applying early helps us determine how available financial aid funds can best be distributed.

  • All applications and financial information are kept confidential. Only members of the Financial Aid Committee will know who has applied for or received financial assistance.

  • Financial aid decisions are based on more than household income. Available funds, the number of requests received, family circumstances, and other relevant factors may also be considered.

  • Please do not register for a program through the regular registration page while your financial aid application is being reviewed. Wait until you have received instructions from the Financial Aid Team.

  • If more than 48 hours have passed since submitting your application and you have not received a response, please contact financialaid@litchfieldhillsrowing.org.
